But,... CSU outplayed Syracuse the whole game. If they wouldn't have messed up an inbounds play right before that, the half court shot wouldn't have been necessary.

CSU's getting pretty good and I have a ton of respect for Gary Waters. He's recruiting good kids and doing things the right way. His players go to class too. J' Nathan Bullock, their best player, has a Bob Marley like hairdo, but he's majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I sure as hell couldn't handle that.

I also love that the Big Greased teams lose games like this. Boeheim seems to be coaching lazy now. Just like Thuggy's UC teams, I don't see a whole lot of offensive movement- just throw the ball in and have a bunch of big guys crash the basket, or make two passes and jack up a 3. Devendorf could also be kicked off the team too. It's been recommended by the Student Disciplinary Committee that he be suspended for the rest of the school year. Boeheim is desperately trying to fight it.

Cleveland State must really love playing in the Carrier Dome - don't forget that's where they beat Indiana and St. Joe's back in 1986 en route to a Sweet 16 run.

The biggest reason I don't like Syracuse is because they play all of their OOC games at the Carrier Dome except if they are in a tourneyment. This year they have played 10 games....2 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City and 8 at the Dome.

I too don't think Boeheim is a very good coach. But he does get good players which is a big part of coaching(recruiting).

CSU is 7-4 and have lost to Washington, Kansas St., West Virginia and Butler. They beat Syracuse. They are def going out and playing people.

I would love, LOVE, to see X hammer exCuse in the tournament one of these days. Just to see Boeheim over there with his stupid face looking like a smacked ass, bitching and crying to the refs, would make my day.

I actually hate Boeheim more than Huggins, because since the vomit incident I find the curmudgeonly lardass to be an endless fountain of unintentional comedy.
