Between St. Edward's 6-7 Delvon Roe, Massillon Perry's 6-11 Kenny Frease and Ohio State recruit Anthony Crater, a 5-11 point guard, it would seem Xavier, which landed Frease, landed the best recruit of the three.

He took up plenty of space on the court, scored deftly around the rim and rebounded solidly.

Yeah, it was from July of last year.

Looks like Perry is now 9-2 (5-0 in the league). Kenny has been playing well over the past few games? Has anyone seen him live? If Love continues to get better could Frease along side him at the 4. I know Frease can face up and I saw that he does shoot the three ball. Anyone seen him play?

Whatever happened with that event? I remember the injury to Kenny last year, he completely hauled off and crushed Frease right to the face.

Wasn't there an investigation, possible charges? I remember that it happened last year, but it seems that the storyline just died out. Does anyone have any such info on the matter?

He still sounds like a big prick.

Wow, I don't even know what to say. My best friend and roommate went to Central Catholic so I'll ask him what he knows of the Berry kid. All I know though is Frease is on his way to play DI ball while Berry is off being an arrogant prick somewhere.

even if it was an accident shouldn't he still say he was sorry for hurting him? that would have taken some heat off of him. instead its everything that happens bad around him is never his fault. the army will have some fun with this kid.:D

What a thug. I agree what is wrong with an apology even if it was an accident? Here is the video of the play I think it was intentional, he even throws down a kid trying to box him out before the hit.

According to that article.... he's off to the Army!

The Coach of Central Catholic kept saying that he wasn't looking at Frease when he made the contact...but you really don't have to if you're that close to the other guy and are swinging with malice. Also, you notice that Berry doesn't buckle much when he lands, which could show that he was anticipating retaliation after the hit.

I think the fact he refuses to apologize might be him overcompensating because he truly believes he's culpable, but would rather show he has nothing to be sorry about.

Reading the article on this kid, he obviously has some MAJOR issues. Perhaps some time in the military will help to straighten this kid out. Whether the blow was intentional or not, the appropriate thing to do would be to apologize. I'm not gonna hold my breath though waiting for him to do it.

This would've disappeared from the papers a lot faster if he had apologized. And his apology, even if it was unintentional, would've gone a long way in preserving and even rebuilding his reputation.

Thanks for the article. Kenny is going to be great! His footwork and passing are exceptional for a big guy. Having a 7 foot true center will be very nice.

This 2008 class could be super special.

I don't really keep up with recruiting as far as who's ranked where. Where is Frease ranked? Was there any chance he could end up in any of these premier showcase games?

Congratulations Kenny on a great HS career. Can't wait to see you at Xavier next year!

Once the Big Frease steps on campus, Global Warming doesn't stand a chance.

I know he'll have a great career as a Musketeer leading us to many victories and deep tournament runs.

He's got the up and under move down cold. Can't wait to see him in X gear, instead of those hideous striped unis.

You know what I love about Frease? You look at this kid and think that he is big and so tall, that you doubt he can get up and down the floor or get off his feet. Then you watch him and see his athleticsm and his incredible dunks and are absolutely blown away. He certainly has a lot of work to do, but he could definitely become a Kevin Love type of player.
