So what the hell was that last night anyway? All I can think of is how much I want to check out metromix, Cincinnati's hottest, newest, hippest new website with a totally in your face attitude. And elf shoes.

What was in the cups they had to drink? Was it Natty or Keystone? Perhaps Beast?

It was not Beast if they didn't vomit everywhere afterward.

I think i heard him say it was egg nog.
The guy would have probably been able to pump up a UC crowd...but not us wine and cheesers :)

I didn't see it myself. I was out in the hallway. XU95 assured me the halftime show was no "quick change".
I think my exact words were "quick change was effing awesome and this was no quick change". Seriously, I had almost wished I was still in line waiting for a beer it was that bad.

It was definitely something done to get advertising dollars, and not to entertain. I'd rather watch 40 minutes of Zooperstarts than 1 minute of students doing a relay race or playing musical chairs. In the past, everytime they brought out the inflatable t-shirt, I tuned out.
It's got to be about money because those things are absolutely mind-numbing. On the other hand, I don't think I'd pay extra just so they can get better half-time shows.
One things for sure, another half-time shows like that and I'm going to write to ask that they bring back the dance team.

I think you're channeling a moderator from a different board. Time for the exorcism!

Thankfully, I don't see the Zooperstars listed anywhere in the promotions page at GoXavier.com for this season. You'll get to see your favorite Dance Team for the Feb. 22 game against GW.
Either that, or there will be a mad scramble for the concessions/MOM kiosk that day.

They brought out the dance team once already didn't they? From behind the upper bowl rail, they didn't look too bad.

That was a dance team from one of the area high schools.

Hey, speaking of the Xavier Dance Team - they were part of the halftime show at the Crosstown Shootout. So those badly in need of a Xavier Dance Team viewing could have gotten that at 5th/3rd arena last night. It was kind of cool, the UC dance team and our dance team worked out a routine together. We had 2 minutes of peace and harmony, then the Bearcat broke our flagpole.
You know wars have started for that sort of thing...
