Many of us threw darts at a list of college teams this week in order to bring you this week's XH Top 25. All members were accounted for and voted. Thanks again to XU05and07 as well as XUOHTX for their help.

Michigan State in.

Michigan out.

Interesting.

I'm still trying to figure out my logic on these polls.

Michigan is in at 25 on my poll and MSU is no where to be found. So the culprit is not me.

I have Michigan at 22

Michigan State not to be found.

Not speaking for all voters, but losing to the #1 team in the country (albeit convincingly) along with another loss to a team that isn't a cupcake might not be enough to push a team out of the top 25.

As for Michigan...I have no explanation and will not take a stab at that. They are in my Top 25 and will stay there unless they begin to lose.

In Michigan State's defense they have played some good teams. However, there are alot of deserving teams fighting to get into the top 25.

I still have MSU in mine, but I need to do a complete overhaul this week. I have some teams still in there that shouldn't be.

If Michigan had beaten Maryland, they'd have vaulted into my poll. Something about being taken to OT by Savannah State (the one Georgetown just beat by 62) doesn't sit right with me, either. They're on my watchlist, but with their upcoming opponents, they probably won't crack (if at all) until conference play.

I didn't take into account games after Sunday. But you make a very good observation.

MSU is at the bottom of my polls, but they have no convincing wins, and lost to Maryland by more on the neutral court then Michigan did at College Park. While Michigan has two wins over Duke and UCLA.

But like 95 I need to continue to do massive work on my votes.

Looks as if Dayton will fall out of the Top 25 after getting blown up at Creighton

I guess Gonzaga's #1 vote goes away.

Don't be so sure, it was Snipe who gave it to them after all.

I am looking at UConn real hard.

Carolina still has not proved they can win a close game.

Soft.

Early returns show that Xavier is going to be ranked pretty high...but there is still time for those that vote to get their ballots in

(that would be my friendly reminder)

Not that I want to tell you how to run the poll, because I think it's cool and appreciate you doing it, but if it takes until Wednesday for it to be released again, can we implement some sort of 3-strike rule? You have to get your ballot in by 6:30 PM on Monday, and if you don't, you get a strike. After three, you lose voting priveledges.

Listen to Hitler imposing the martial law already. Seig Heil!

"Not that I want to tell you how to run your poll" - could have fooled me Adolph. I think you did want to tell him how to run his poll. In fact that is exactly what you did. What happened to count every vote? Next you and your crew of jack booted thugs will be threatening my voting privledges because you don't like my dismissal of Carolina.

Dayton still in the Top 25?

Edit: I realize this isn't the new list...flog me.

I will be running the poll within 3 weeks, and will rule with an iron fist.

Anybody whose ballot is significantly different than mine will be dismissed.

I haven't seen a power grab like this since Dick Cheney came to Washington.

The real question is will you scalp your vote?
