That might be true, but it won't be a bad loss. And it will still be considered a decent win. In reality it was a lucky as hell win, but we'll take it. I thought Mizzou was the best team X played in Puerto Rico, but it was VTech where we needed the long ball. I'll take the long ball when it is needed, all the same.

No, I think he was saying that he wishes Virginia Tech would have won. You see, when teams Xavier has beaten subsequently win games, that helps Xavier. It helps with Xavier's RPI and with seeding in the tourney.

Let them get into ACC play before you say that. If they go 10-6 or better in the ACC, it will be a quality win and it won't matter what they did OOC.

I watched a lot of that game, and it could be described as a basketball game that only a mother could love. Both of those teams are mostly just brute squads. Both teams were horrific from the line, and they weren't much better from the field.

VaTech will win some games because they are insanely physical, but I can't see them ending up inside the Top 50. Georgia just isn't good at all. VaTech is the better team and should not have lost that game.
