I hate Duke too.....but was it good that they lost today or would we rather have them undefeated when we face them....I am torn on that...by losing today they have time in repairing their holes....be undefeated when we play them means they haven't fixed their holes and we would expose them....so was it good or bad they lost today....

True.

On the bright side, Duke looks beatable. Once again, Duke doesn't seem to be producing the top notch big players that win championships.

I would have preferred to have Xavier face an undefeated and top 5 Duke squad, but I have a hard time feeling too bad about any Duke loss.

Singler, Henderson and Nowlan Smith look tough. Everyone else...very unimpressive.

I concur with that. Coach K is great at bringing in top notch guards and small forwards. Yet, he can't bring in the big players which take teams like Unc to the Final Four.

How is the tournament committee going to take into account Duke and Michigan's 1-1 record for each other? Has this ever happened before between out of conference teams?

One of the reasons Michigan pulled this out was some stellar foul shooting. I didn't check the overall stats, but in the last 5 minutes, they hit all but one from the line - I think they were something like 9 of 10 to close it out.

It is paramount that the Muskies improve from the line.

Or get Tutu back in time.

I wish they would have been undefeated when we played them.
