Arizona State 16th while Baylor is unranked?!? Am I the only one who watched Baylor beat ASU like rented mules?

Arizona St and Baylor dropped out of my top 25 this week.

I do like Baylor alot though.

I have ASU unranked as well. Damn, some voters must have ASU really, really high then.

I had Baylor ranked but I didn't know where to rank them. I probably ranked ASU to high as well. I had a hard time finding teams to rank ahead of Xavier but I didn't want to rank us too high.

Georgetown, Memphis, Kansas, Florida, & Wissconsin missed my poll. And they were behind Clemson who was last off my list. Those class programs were replaced by Dayton, BYU, Baylor, Florida State &
Butler.

How come Xavier and UCLA have 177 votes each, yet UCLA gets the nod? This is a Xavier message board. What has UCLA ever done anyway that would give them the benefit of the doubt over our boys?

X and UCLA are actually co 13's.

When I sort in excel, it goes by votes and then by alphabetical order...I cut and paste from the worksheet and have it listed 1-25. I didn't look at the vote totals and put a tie in there...it will not happen again

I gave it to Gonzaga.

Go Zags!

Zags do look tough this year.

UNC is soft. I can't wait to play them in the dance.

My sobriety is not an issue here. One man one vote and Gonzaga got my vote.

UNC has beaten two teams with winning records and one was a home game.

Soft.

Dayton made it so close but no cigar. Now they will hover in place as teams like Ohio State and Clemson leapfrog right over them. Has to suck for them. Humpers.

I went to bed Sunday night assuming Baylor was going to beat Wake. When I woke up and Wake had won, I just deleted Baylor and put Wake in their spot instead of changing my entire ballot.

I have UConn as my #1. I just like to be different.

To me OSU hasn't proven much so I didn't put them in. They had three wins over Delaware St., Samford, and Bowling Green which they beat by 4. In addition BG just lost to Savannah St by 3.

Wisconsin, Clemson, and Duke must have saw their places on my ballot and promptly went out and scored big road victories.

Those who performed well in the early season tournaments were rewarded.

Until Xavier shows some offensive consistency, I do not think they would beat the teams I have ranked ahead of them.

Vote what you know not what some other expert thinks, so I am throwing my #25 vote to Missouri. I saw a talented group with a strong pressure defense whose only blemish is a tough loss to Xavier.

Villanova and Ohio State with their road win over Miami are my teams in waiting.

As for the XH Poll, Notre Dame beat Texas and should be ranked higher.

My vote was cast long before the game last night. Unfortunately, I didn't know the outcome beforehand.

I don't really recall saying that your bracket should have reflected last night's game. And I was saying it tongue-in-cheek, sorta like "was that convincing enough?".

And I didn't really think the outcome was terribly surprising.

Michigan State is over-rated. UNC is soft. The Zags are where it's at for #1.

UNC doesn't know how to win close games. Soft.

PMI
12-05-2008, 04:47 PM
That's because UNC hasn't played anything close to a close game. Anyone who thinks they are not the first best team in college basketball needs to clean slate and start all over.
