What's been going on with Moe Hester? Last season, she was a starter who played the majority of the game and now she's barely getting any minutes, didn't even see her name in the box score vs. Louisville. Saw she only played 16 in Xavier domination over UT Martin; what's up is she hurt or just struggling...anyone have any insight?

Last year, she seemed to get a lot worse as the season went on, and her minutes diminished as well. I got the idea that McGuff wasn't that thrilled with her play late in the season. She also seemed to tire quite quickly last year.

With her playing significantly less this year, I have to assume that McGuff has decided to go with other options. In all honesty, Hester really hasn't looked good even in limited minutes this year.

Yea she hasn't played much at all this year but I would agree that when she has played I've been really disappointed.... I think the bigger question is who do you take playing time away from to give Mo more, and I just don't know... Quite frankly Dee Dee, Tudy, Tyeasha, and Jerri are all better than Mo right now.

A little weird that a player goes from starting 33 games to very limited minutes, but I agree that she seems lost in the talent mix. Her shots have been well off the mark when she's seen time this year.

Maybe she's trying too hard?

She always hustles and isn't afraid to make contact which is why I like watching her play. Hope it turns around for her as the season moves on, she's a fantastic representative of the program.

Agree with all previous messages. At this point in time who would Mo take minutes from? Moss, Jerri, and Tudy are all playing very well and its not like Coach McGuff is going to have Mo bring the ball up the floor. Plus her shot isn't falling.

As much as I enjoy watching her play it just seems like others deserve the minutes more right now. Not to say when I see 13 get up off the bench I am also one to stand up in cheer, because I do feel she best represents the program but she is not the best in the lineup right now. I do hope she earns some more minutes because she is fun to watch.

Question on Mo: she's listed as a junior but I read in the Media Guide she will be graduating at the end of this year. Does she still have eligibility? If she stays around for her 4th year I see her playing more of the role she did last year...

Interesting media guide note. She would have a year of eligibility. Many athletes complete their programs early and use the extra year to start graduate school or just take classes that keep them eligible to play.
