St. Joe's is crushing Indiana midway through the 2nd half.

Richmond is hosting UMKC.

Duquesne is playing South Carolina Upstate.

Rhode Island is hosting Hartford. Hartford hung tight with UConn for a while.

SLU is at Nebraska. You never know what you are getting with Nebraska, but they are generally a bottom-feeder in the Big 12.

Dayton is hosting Mercer. Mercer has knocked off Alabama and Auburn on the road already.

St. Bonaventure is hosting Mississippi State. I should know a lot about MSU, but I don't. They are a young team that is 4-0 against very weak competition. MSU does have a guy that has 33 blocks in 4 games, but they are considered an NIT team at best.

I will be very interested in the Dayton and St. B results. The A10 may be about as good as the SEC this year. The SEC appears to be way down this year.

Why in the world did Mississippi St agree to a game at SBU?

I think it's about the RPI road win factor. It's not an avalanche, but there are more "bigger programs" scheduling road games they think they can win.

Gotcha, and it makes sense.

There is a stop-over in the city on the way back. I am sure it is a nice vacation for a lot of kids that have never been to NYC PLUS there is that 1.4 win factor to boot. I think it is what the NCAA wanted when they set up the 1.4 road and 0.6 home crap.

With that lineup of games, 5-2 is essential. 7-0 would be nice to make up for UMass's display against Jax St.

In all fairness Glow, they've used that system since the inception of the RPI; they only revealed that "secret ingredient" a few years ago. That's probably why Michigan State chose to play a game at IPFW a week or so ago.

St. Louis loses to Nebraska
St. Bonaventure loses to Miss. St.

The other 5 roll.

5-2 on the day.

That Dayton win over Mercer is actually a pretty good one, as of right now. The Flyers have an opportunity to really help the league later this week in the Chicago tourney X won last year. They should get Auburn and Marquette.

Dayton will easily defeat Auburn. Marquette will be a good match-up for them, but I wouldn't at all be surprised to see the Flyers pull that one out.

Bonnies were down 15 in the second half and closed it to a tie game with about 1.5 minutes left. They may actually be better this year, but then again, that was the only direction they could go.
