The Setting:
The Musketeers travel to the land of sunny skies and sandy beaches to play in the Puerto Rico Shoot-Out. Potential future opponents include Memphis, Virginia Tech, and F airfield.
Last Game:
Xavier's final tune-up game for Puerto Rico Shoot-Out was against Toledo on Monday night at the Cintas Center. Xavier defeated the Rockets, 81-65, behind 18 points from B.J. Raymond. Both Derrick Brown and Dante Jackson chipped in 14 points in support of Raymond's effort. Toledo's Tyrone Kent scored 37 points in the loss.
Missouri defeated Chattanooga, 103-75, Monday night. Leo Lyons paced the Tigers with 25 points. Missouri previously defeated Prairie View A&M 85-65.
Previous Meeting:
Xavier and Missouri last played on November 24, 2001 in the opening game of the Wooden Tradition at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Tigers defeated the Musketeers 72-60.
