I think La Salle might be better than Kentucky right now. Embarrassing start for Kentucky with lots of turnovers and bad shots. I don't think Gillespie is good enough to meet Kentucky fanbase expectations.

He doesn't have a PG. Michael Porter makes London Warren look like an NBA prospect. Meeks and Patterson are really good, but don't have anyone else around them.
I think Billy Clyde is good enough to do big things at UK, but I'm not sure UK fans will allow him the 2-3 years necessary to get the program to excel under his style. He needs a PG to do that. Maybe Liggins can be his Acie Law, but he's a freshmen...and needs a year or two.

I admit I'd like to see him fail. He reminds me of Squiggy.

17 TO's in half. Miller would come absolutely un-glued.

As Snipe said on a different thread. "We have passed Kentucky as a program."

Davidson/Oklahoma is an infinitely better game.

Gonzaga 47, Idaho 11
That's some halftime score.

Gonzaga hasn't gotten as much hype as they have when they weren't as good. Austin Daye is a special talent, and a match-up nightmare for just about everyone.

Heytvelt is also a big matchup problem for teams. This is probably their most talented team ever. Best? We'll see.

Gonzaga is expecting good things from Josh...as long as he lays off the 'shrooms

Three fouls for Curry. This one might be over by halftime.

This Davidson/Oklahoma game won't end. Anybody watching this?

Davidson couldn't make it all the way back. Curry had 40+.

25 points and 21 rebounds from Blake Griffin. If he is not the top pick next year, I dont know who will be.

I was actually embarrassed for Kentucky when I was watching that game. I quickly switched over to Oklahoma/Davidson.
The Meeks kid reminds me of Stanley in his sophomore year, only much, much worse at ballhogging. I loved how, at the beginning of the game, Shulman kept mentioning that Meeks had 39 points against VMI, to which Vitale quickly responded "but he took 37 shots!" every time.
