John Daly is one of my favorite people in sports. If anyone hasn't read his book yet, I highly recommend it, both as someone who doesn't read a lot of books and as a heavy drinker.

You could argue that Daly was just being loyal to a sponsor.

Or you could argue that he needs a sponsor.

John Daly doesn't claim to work on his golf game. He openly says he doesn't practice, he just warms up. He pretty much just plays rounds of golf rather than go to the range to practice. Then he drinks lots of Diet Coke and smokes lots of cigarettes to stay fresh.

I'm all for having a few beers but this guy obviously is spiraling out of control.

At the Memphis tournament last year, Daly was in contention and had a huge fight with the wife at a restaurant/bar in Germantown. He was at the police station all night because each had charged the other with assault. He played on national TV the next day with huge fingernail scratches on his face and neck. Looked like he had been run over by a truckload of 84 Lumber products.

The Daly pics with the strippers would be appropriate right now, but this isn't the right forum.

Unfortunately we all know there's only a couple ways this saga will end. He'll either end up wrapping his car around a telephone pole or his liver will explode. Either way, John Daly's drinking kills him...

I know he has a couple out now, that is why I am asking.

B. What is the writing on John's lower back? It looks like a Y and an S in blue ink.

You can see where he autographed her chest.

I think the Y and S is the end of something that starts lower. Thank goodness we didn't get pictures of that part of the party.

I'm all for a good bender and some partying, but man, Daly is going Amy Winehouse on his liver. Sad thing is, if he hasn't learned a lesson yet, he won't ever.
