I actually miss GuyFawkes. Listening to his narrow-minded elitist ramblings often caused me to be thankful that I'm sane.

I miss him for different reasons in that I actually find him amusing.

I like Fawkes. He was always good for bringing up off the wall Threads.

I seldom agreed with Guy's takes, but I am certain he would say the same about mine. Some of his thread starters were actually relevant and others were amusing. Some didn't score in either column.
I think most of us could be described in a similar manner.

There are probably some who have scored in both columns, but I think Don't Ask Don't Tell is the best policy.

Yes, I guess it has been a while.
There have been a lot of rumors circulating around XavierHoops and the blogosphere regarding my absence.
One such rumor claims that a large aid organization sent me to Africa to help devise a plan to save thousands of lives in several villages from a strange new virus. Another rumor claims that the Bush administration drafted me for my thoughts on the financial crisis.
Of course, these are false. But I have been busy doing more important stuff than everyone else.
I have not been completely absent from XH. I visit sometimes, mostly to reread my old posts (there is no shame in an artist admiring his own work).
I'm sure as the season approaches I will post more often.

Congratulations on your successful math tutoring of Jane Crenshaw. I believe it was your second-best effort, after your "How to Read the A-10 Standings" class given to flyer fans.
