Former X verbal Nate Miles was expelled from UConn today after he broke a restraining order against him. I remember some people being disappointed after Nate and Xavier mutually agreed to part ways some time back, but it looks like this was the right choice afterall.

I think I can hear the jet from Morgantown that's heading to Connecticut.

I love that Miles' guardian claims he was railroaded. Yep, that's what it had to be. It's always somebody else's fault. (Sarcasm alert!) Plus, there's nothing in Miles' past that could lead anyone to believe that he's trouble and, quite possibly, a bad kid. Well, at 20-years-old, even though he'd only be a freshman, I guess he's actually and adult. And he's obviously an adult who is a problem. Honestly, I don't think Calhoun would have allowed a talented player to get booted if there was any possible way of keeping him. The kid is a headcase and UConn booted him. Is that the guardian's definition of "railroaded?"

Isaw him play several times in high school while at Toledo Libbey, however, his exploits off the court were as well known as his on the court. Known for being able to hit 30 footers at will, his grades, attitude, and selfishness were just as documented. He left Libbey due to some infringement of school rules (I cannot remember whether is was academic or behavior issues though).
If I am correct, (although someone please correct me if they know), he got booted from Oak Hill as well.
End of story, I'm thrilled he's not at Xavier nor coming. As talented as he is, there's just too many issues with this kid.
