The Artist Formerly Known As Chad Johnson does not want to go to that strip club. The last thing he wants is to go on a drunken tequila binge and wake up in his hotel room on Sunday draped in hookers and clutching a reefer the size of a corncob. But damn it, he will do it for the team. No sacrifice is too big for the well being of the Bengals.

The scene: A telephone conference call earlier today with writers in Dallas. Question: Do you think all the Bengals that have been in trouble have resulted in you guys struggling on the field at times? Ocho replies:

"No man, that has nothing to do with it. That has nothing to do with it. Think about this: You remember our '05 season right? Our '05 season we were unbelievable. Our '05 season is the year everybody went to jail and got arrested. That year everybody got in trouble. So maybe the bad was a good thing. It sounds dumb to say, but look at it. We have cleaned house and nobody is getting in trouble anymore, no DUIs, no arrests, now we're getting our a— whopped. Maybe I don't know, maybe I should go out have a drink, get in trouble. I don't know what it is. Our '05 was one of the best years here in history. It was one of those years where there was a lot of distractions."

And back in Cincinnati, the police department has canceled all vacations for the immediate future. Hell, so has the National Guard.

Thats great. C.O.C is the only one on the team that can say this kind of stuff. If I remember correctly he doesn't drink at all.

They were unbelievable in 2005? I don't remember the Bengals winning the Superbowl that year...

I don't know why he has to open his mouth.
I was listening to Cutler this morning and one caller had me laughing pretty hard.
he said, you know that warm, fuzzy feeling you rarely but sometimes get about good things regarding the bengals (ie, Carson Palmer, a win, the 11-5 year). You know, the warm, fuzzy feeling.
Yeah, that is Mike Brown peeing on you. It feels good at first but at the end of the day you feel cold, disgusting, dirty, and you stink.
I almost dropped my whole bottle of Diet Mountain Dew/wake up medicine.

I know he's an easy target, but why not ignore him?
Don't you usually ignore someone who constantly rants, or a kid who says "I'll hold my breath until you give me what I want?"
I am amused by Johnson or Ocho Cinco or whatever he calls himself, because he gets publicity for a team about as interesting as cream of wheat, when no pub is deserved.
However, I fear for his physical well being if he tries to kiss the star after a touchdown. It's at least 50 yards from an end zone to the star and he's liable to be clobbered and seriously injured if he even thinks about heading for that star. And should he succeed in getting there and kissing that damned piece of turf, it'll be his last kiss and he'll draw a 15-yarder for unsportsmanlike..
And just for good measure T.O. will probably do the same kiss after he scores.
Ignore him.:D

There are stars in the endzone too. He could be talking about those.

Somehow, I don't think it will be an issue against Dallas with some dude named Fitzpatrick trying to throw to him.
