Anyone watching the Eagles-Cowboys game? Did you see the receiver flip the ball BEFORE he crossed the goal line? Hilarious. Eagles still got the TD, but I'd bench that guy's ass for the rest of the game for that bonehead play.

Yeah that was bad but he's not gonna get benched since the Eagles need WR's.

Unfortunately, the Eagles don't have the luxury of benching Jackson for that little "mishap". They already have their top two recievers out with injuries. I remember back in the 2000 season when Notre Dame played Oregon St. in the Fiesta Bowl. This was the Oregon St. team with Chad Johnson and Houshmenzadeh. As he did most of the night, Chad Johnson ran past one of ND's corners and caught a pass, as he was running into the end-zone he pulled the same jackass play as Jackson just did and dropped/tossed the ball down before he reached the goal-line. Except in Chad's case, he did it at like the 2 yard line, i mean it wasn't even close. Of course the officials blew it and signaled TD and since there was no replay challenges then, the TD stood.

While that was one of the biggest boneheaded plays i have seen in along time, in the fantasy world it worked out perfectly for me. Westbrook got the touchdown and I won by 4 points after being down nearly 40 points.

Evidently, Jackson did the same thing at the senior bowl. Except at the senior bowl, he went to do a cart wheel on the 1 and fumbled the ball. What a jackass.

He cost me the game. I lost by one point. McNabb needed that TD pass for me!

The announcers were saying that Jackson has done this before in the High School Senior All-Star Game when he tried to perform a swan dive from the five yard line and ended up landing like an idiot at the 1 yard line. That would be hilarious to see and unbelievable to have to watch as a coach. The outcome was not much different but to make this mistake in your second pro game will cause Jackson to come under fire for being overly-cocky. Solid receiver though, hopefully he can keep his celebrations in check in the future until he has crossed the goal line.
