First, let me premise this with saying that I do root for OSU football.

This is pretty fun to watch such a vaunted top tier BCS team struggle with a middling MAC team. I know OSU was overlooking them for USC next week, but Ohio is pointing out some major flaws on this OSU team.

Oh and I realized that I am a casual OSU football fan. If they lose, it really doesn't bother me. I'll watch the games, but I'm not emotionally vested with the program. Now if X loses, it bugs me so bad that I usually get a bad nights sleep after it and I can't stop thinking about it until the next game is tipped off.

Edit---OU just got a fumble recovery in the endzone to have them up 8....wow.

I'm sure ohio state will come back, but I'd toast to an Ohio upset.

The late punt return sealed the game for Ohio State - the refs missed an obvious block in the back that sprung the TD though.

Nothing like a hard fought home win against a mid-level MAC school playing with their back-up QB to get them primed for USC.

Let's hope the Bucks put on a better show against the Trojans next week. I'm not rooting for them, but I'd like to see a good show.

OSU fan: But we didnt have Beanie against OU, that wasn't our best team.

OU fan or anyone with a brain: OU lost their QB very early in the game and still exposed your team, USC is going to work you.

Exposed to the tune of 7 points and 4 INTs?

That game was close because Ohio State's offense was terrible without Beanie. Way too predictable and boarderline slow. That wasn't exposed yesterday.

Thats the problem with OSU, they are slow as crap. OSU's 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th string RB's are all probably higher ranked recruits than any of OU's players and they still could not run the ball. RB is the easiest position to plug in for and OSU had nothing. Good luck against a good USC team.

OSU overlooked OU. It happens all the time. Don't dissect it further than that. If Beanie plays, I bet the USC game is very competitive.

I wouldn't be too confident about that. USC looks very tough right now.
