That was fun watching her and Kerri Walsh. They were in the rain and there was frolic, so that is good. Seriously, May is badass. Good for them. I especially enjoyed their thanking our great President. Winners know winners. They no doubt know Bush is a winner for presiding over our imminent victory in Iraq. Indeed, a winner for reshaping the entire mideast.
Today May and Walsh have their gold medals. George Bush will have to wait awhile for his. Or, considering liberals write history, maybe never. I mean these are the same people who want to bring the second coming of Jimmy Carter.
Retreat never earned victory.

Misty and Kerri both called me last night asking if I'd give them my man-seed. They want to have children soon so they can be back for 2012.
I told them to give me a day or two to think about it.

I'm sure their husbands would be thrilled with a bunch of little Madxsters running around the house.

Misty May is, indeed, badass. The look on her face when the Chinese girl was faking that injury was priceless. She looked like a freaking terminator.

I am sure Matt Treanor's athletic man-seed would do better for Misty and her offspring than you. But I would call Kerri, I have no idea what he options for babies' daddy are.
This may be a little mean on my part, but does anyone know if the Chinese are going to leave that volleyball stadium up or are they going to tear it down? That would suck if they tore it down after Misty spread her mom's ashes on it.

I enjoyed watching Misty "dance" on The Great Wall. She had everyone around her freaked out.
Has anyone been to the Great Wall at Badaling? That is one strange piece of architecture. The steps range from 6" to 18" tall with no particular pattern and at times the climb is very steep. The steps are 6" to 24" wide. The steps slope with the hill so there is a big tilt towards one wall of the other. I first went out there in 1991, and the thing that surprised me the most on that trip is that there was a cart at the top of the mountain selling cold Coca-Cola and Sprite.

The Great Wall was built to keep out Chuck Norris; it failed miserably. It also failed to keep out good old Adam Smith-invisible hand-capitalism. Hooray for Scottish-inspired mercantilism! Hooray for Coca-Cola! Hooray for free market economies!

I enjoyed watching their matches for many reasons.
The least of which has to do with volleyball.
I got sucked in watching that match last night and couldn't turn the TV off. That was great to watch. They played so much better than the Chinese, and their white suits looked wonderful in the rain.

Kerri Walsh is guilty of "smuggling raisins" like few seen before her, maybe only comparable to Jennifer Anniston in her "Friends" days. Misty May-Treanor as "smuggled raisins" but not nearly as frequently.
Sadly, I can't find any pictures showing that particular detail. Every picture of them is from the wrong angle or with a warm up jacket on.

I saw the clip of their message to Bush on the net. I think the best show of patriotism yet is the Kobe Bryant interview with goofy Cris Collingsworth. Kobe Bryant is a Great American.

Misty May-Treanor will be on the next season of "Dancing with the Stars"...though, never seeing the show, I know that you need to be an athlete or Nick Lachey's unknown little brother to win this...so she's got a chance
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=3552445
Other contestants:
Warren Sapp
Maurice Green
Cody Linley (some 18 year old from Hannah Montana or Miley Cyrus or whoever she is)
Cloris Leachman (she's 82...she will break a hip)
Lance Bass
Toni Braxton
Susan Lucci
Kim Kardashian (amatuer porn star and great topic of a poll on XH)
Ted McGinley (?)
Rocco DiSpirito (who??? i guess he is a chef...and that makes him a "star")
Brooke Burke (as I type out this list, the list of women is getting better and better)
Jeffrey Ross (comedian and candidate for first to be voted off the island)

Frau Blücher is on Dancing with the Stars? I have never watched a minute of the show, however, if she will dress up as her character from Young Frankenstein, I will watch. OK, that and if Brooke Burke dresses up as her character in the Playboy pictorial she did, then I will watch. That's it. Frau Blucher and naked Brooke Burke, or I'm not watching.

Ted McGinley is the patron saint of the Jump the Shark moments. I predict this will be the last successful season of Dancing with Stars. The guy is a total douche and has ruined every show he has ever appeared.

I remember him in Revenge as the QB of the Adams College football team, with that fine, svelt John Goodman playing the head ball coach.

Revenge of the Nerds is his biggest movie role, but his most notable role was Jefferson D'Arcy on Married With Children as Marcy's unemployed husband.
He was also on Happy Days as that show wound down, but who knows if anyone was still watching the show at that point.

This morning I was able to go to the AVP tourneyment in Mason. No idea that I was going to be able to see two matches that included Kerri Walsh and Misty May. Awesome sand volleyball.
I listed Kerri 1st because she is my new girlfriend. Talked to her a bit and had her sign my chest with a permanent sharpie marker. She's hot. Misty signed the other side of my chest.
Great volleyball....men's and women's. The players don't disappear after matches either. They walk around and watch other matches. Kerri and Misty had security guards with them.
And the suits. TV does not do justice. They are much smaller. Beer, Kerri and Misty, sand volleyball, eye candy all over, skimpy suits.....
Damn what a great day!

Saw her interviewed by one of the local sports guys. The saficionados must be voting for the bod, because if you saw that face on the street you wouldn't look twice.
