IU vs. Gonzaga @ Lucas Stadium in Indy

Just announced today IU playing Gonzaga, and OSU vs. ND in a double header in the new Stadium in Dec. According to sources Gonzaga was supposed to be XU, but after last years butt whipping IU wanted to avoid X. Plus they will probably never go head to head with Gonzaga for recruits.
If Holloway and Crawford had not opted for XU, we would probably have been invited. But I would think Gonzaga will thump IU pretty bad.
As for OSU vs. ND, I can't stand either so I don't care.

Sampson is the reason for the Gonzaga matchup. He nixed the Xavier matchup when it was proposed during last season. There's an article out there where he or AD Greenspan stated that Sampson was not in favor of the X match-up. I'm sure Holloway and Crawford were icing on the cake.

the way it's going, i personally think our schedule is better without indiana next season. there aren't too many games i'd remove in favor of indiana, unless we were to play one fewer guarantee game.

Gonzaga will blow them out...probably not even worth them traveling all the way to the midwest

I agree with Brew...IU would only hurt our schedule next year
