Which ones are you looking forward to seeing next year? Here's a short list off the cuff.

-Stephen Curry Davidson He is one very special guy, and a must player on any of my all-american teams.

-James Harden Arizona State Overshadowed last year by some other big time players in the pac-10, he apparently had a very good showing at a summer camp.

-Tyler Hansbrough North Carolina Love him/hate him....he's a beast, and I like seeing him play. I consider him a throw-back type player.

-Luke Harangody ND I'm biased, but I had to include him. You look at him, and he doesn't look the type, but the dude can flat out play.

Jrue Holliday (UCLA) interests me as a young, highly recruited player who joins a solid existing team.

Jimmie Binnie. I hear he is applying for another year of eligibility because he sucked so bad the first four years he is hoping they won't count them.

I saw Jimmie yesterday on the north side of 275 with a lot of his orange friends.

I'm considering hitting up the Purdue-Davidson game in Indy just to see Curry play. He had a good PG last year that graduated, so there might be a slight drop-off this year.

Yeah, that guy was VERY underrated/under-valued. He'll be missed. However, I'm not sure it'll slow down Curry that much. That dude may never make the pros, but neither did Steve Alford.

His dad had a nice NBA career with less game. Steve ALford played on the Western Conference Finalisr Dallas Mavericks one year stoney.

Yeah, but he was gone shortly after, which kinda surprised me. Too bad, one of my favorite college players of all time (another one being St. Johns' Walter Berry......another OUCH).

According to the UDPride (is that somehow a contradiction in terms?) site, Binnie has signed to play on a team in Denmark. I had no idea that traffic control was an issue there.

We'll all be indebted to Byron Larkin for the traffic cone comparison:D

Going to have to DVR the Xavier game on December 3rd. I moved to Ann Arbor, MI three months ago and my father in law bought box seats for Michigan State vs North Carolina game at Ford Field. I want to see Delvon Roe of Michigan State who went to my high school rival and father in laws alma mater, St. Edwards. Good times.

Johnny Wolf averaging 17 pts, 5 bds, 4 assists, and 2 turnovers a game for UNC-Wilmington.

Probably the wrong thread, but it is 4am and I'm bored at work.

Most impressive player I've seen this year is Blake Griffin. I knew that guy was good last year, but he is an absolute beast.

(Curry is probably the most fun to watch, though. It was great to see him deflate Huggins and WVU the other night in the second half.)

JDM, I have to agree with you on this one. The Tyler Hansbrough show has gotten old with all his free throws and odd shots. Curry though is definitely the most exciting player this year. There is just a type of anticipation during a game that he could take over at any moment and carry his team to victory or a great comeback.

Blake Griffin though is the best player this year. He is a beast down low, and has developed a decent shooting range (about 10 ft.). He also has some quick hops and tough to block out and he can run the floor. The only bad part of his game that I have seen has been his free throw shooting. If I were playing Oklahoma, I would just hack him because he only shoots about 55-60%.

I am on the Blake Griffin train as well. If he keeps up his current play, and doesn't win player of the year, then there is something wrong.
Curry is a good player but he is kind of a one trick pony. Griffin also rebounds like a mad man and blocks some shots. He is a more complete player on a better team.

Griffin is a beast. I would love to see a UNC-Oklahoma matchup and him tear up Hansbrough.

If Griffin was significantly (actually ANY) better than Curry, Oklahoma would have beaten Davidson by a lot more than three points at home. Griffin is surrounded by a lot more talent than Curry.

Griffin is fantastic and will likely be a better pro, but Curry is the best college basketball player in America.

Curry is phenomenal and is the best in the land, but I really like watching Evan Turner - that kid can play.

I only watched part of the game but didn't OU have Willie Warren on Curry most of the game? Warren is very talented but he is less than games into his freshman year.

Davidson certainly didn't have a McDonald's All-American to guard Griffin (or anyone else).

Fair enough. The Griffin vs. Curry argument is definitely going the be the story that dominates the season in my opinion. We simply agree to disagree.
