Is NKU even DII? I thought they were in the NAIA, and not the NCAA. I could be mistaken though.

Yes... he's already used two years at JUCO. He was only interested in transferring to a school where he could play right away.

NKU is D2. I imagine when the NCAA lifts the moratorium on schools applying for D1 status the Norse will apply and land in the Summit League. Ellis could play right away.
