Woo Hoo! I am a champion. The King of Cholesterol is off the charts with a total cholesterol of 328, and a bad cholesterol of 233. Another year and another medication!
On the way home from the doctor I celebrated by getting a large cheesesteak from Penn Station. Then about a half hour later I'm sitting on the can, fatigued, and I think "Am I gonna have an Elvis Exit?"

Congrats on the high cholesterol test scores. It sounds like you studied hard for that test. No one can out cholesterol Fred Fu**ing Garvin.
My cholesterol has fluctuated enough to keep me off medicine, thank goodness. I take enough medicine right now as it is.
I'd rep you Freddy G, but I have to "spread it around" for a while I guess.

Watermelon is cholesterol free. But I recommend getting the seedless kind, less resistance.

Hard to beat those two.
Philly Cheese Steak away Fred. My uncle had zippers on his chest and was still hotdoggin it in his 80s. What's modern med for if not fixing our arteries?
I'm not quite in your range on the LDL, but right there on the raw score. so I pop an 80mg Zocor, a 325 aspirin, and pray my stent isnt the one that turns out to be the wrong kind. Oh wait, Im an atheist.
My sister, who has a negative (less than 1:1) high/low ratio, if that is possible, did get me on oatmeal for breakfast, and that seems to drop 30 points right there. I dose it up with fruit and brown sugar, not so bad.

You rocked that test.
Were you eating the cheesesteak when they drew the blood?
I found a note in my medical file from my doctor that suggested I engage in "proper diet, losing weight, more exercise, quit smoking and severely reduce my alcohol consumption". A year later, I'm on blood pressure, cholesteral and gerd medication. Oh, I also have a different doctor. F that other guy.

Even more to the point: are you sure that they didn't accidentally draw grease from the cheesesteak instead of your blood?

I hear marijuana helps lower your cholesterol. At least this is what some dude told me last weekend.
I don't know how reliable the source is, but it is worth a shot.

If the dude was trying to sell you some and you said, "Nah, I'm watching my cholesterol" and he said, "Dude this helps lower it." Then he's sounds pretty reliable.
