We should have two open schollies in 2010. We will lose Love and Graves.

Xavier is in good with many top players. My personal top 3 at this point and I'd be extremely happy with any two of these.

Adreian Payne
Jordan Sibert
Donnie Hale

Sibert is a beast, I played against him in a summer league, I would be pretty happy if we landed him.

BJ and CJ scholarships are for the 2009 class. So we have two for the 2009 class, and potentially one additional if D. Brown goes pro. For the 2010 class we have have Jason Love, Adrion Graves, and Derrick Brown's scholarships, so 3 total for 2010.

So it could be two or three for 09 and based off of what Brown does will dictate how many in 2010.

You are so correct! Even though I think D Brown will not go pro (not due to ability, more in view with David West's reasons) I will count on two being available.

I'll edit my post and you my friend get a rep for paying attention.

I'd add Justin Martin to that 2010 list. He's a super-athletic 6'7 guard from Indianapolis, and is rated #47 on the Rivals 100. He has Xavier and Purdue currently listed as his leaders.

I would say we have three in 09 without Brown going pro. Four if he does. With the top line recruits we are starting to pull in, I would not be surprised to see a transfer every year. Some of the kids we are recruiting now will just not be happy with 8 to 10 minutes per game.

My top three plus backup options

1. Adreian Payne: Local forward who is a high major prospect. His recruitment should come down to X and UD.

1b. Donnie Hale: Traditional forward who gets it done in the paint. X and Purdue are his top two but IU is getting back into the picture

2. Justin Martin: Raw wing who has major upside. X and Purdue lead for his services.

2b. J.D. Weatherspoon: Very athletic wing who plays in the paint. X is listed with Ohio State, Georgetown, Syracuse, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

3. Jordan Sibert: Local guard who has emerged recently as the top guards in his class. Sibert is wide open in his recruitment.

3b. Daryl Traynham: Drew Lavender type point guard who knows how to run a team. X is listed with Kansas State, Syracuse, Maryland and Clemson.
