on the Xavier Alumni page and noticed they've started taking a social networking approach. The program is explained here (http://xu.imodules.com/s/454/system.aspx?sid=454&gid=1&pgid=709&cid=2582).

Anyone think they'll actually use it. The Alumni page isn't exactly on my top 10 sites to visit daily list.

Muskie, I don't think a lot of the alumni hit the page all that often. I'm actually a member of the Executive Board for the Dayton Alumni Chapter. We update our page, but not that often. I find that word of mouth about Alumni events in any given area is way more effective than posting anything on the Xavier Alumni page.

I agree... i just updated my info so my Xavier mail would get forwarded to the correct place. I think it's a missed opportunity not to use the website though... I can understand why it doesn't work.
