Boring Reds Game Tonight - Zavier vs. X - ave -yer

Marty and Thom spent WAY too much time discussing this during the game tonight because of X - ave - yer Nady. Marty was hoping Fr. Graham could chime in.

Not quite sure how Marty is going to get through the last 100+ games if he's already this bored with the team.

It was actually Thom that brought it up and beat it to death. Marty stated he didn't know why the Jesuits pronounce it "Zayvier" but that "X-avier" Nady pronounced his name his way. Marty told Thom to call up Fr. Graham for an explanation. The reds were down 0-3 at that point in the game & it was a little boring. Shortly thereafter, Dunn homered & the Reds pulled away.

Can't stand either Marty or his mini-me Thom and I tend to find both of them rather verbose and uninteresting. Chris Welsh is much more informative than either of them and got the shaft when they brought in Brantley

If I was listening to a 2 year old's account of the game, I would have a better idea of what was going on than when listening to Marty.
