What is with all these guys named Xavier?

I can't remember when I saw so many guys named Xavier....it seems there are just a bunch of them now compared the times of Xavier McDaniel.

Example...

Xavier Henry---big time recruit. (along with Xavier Humphrey, and the best name yet---Xavier Thames)
Xavier Nady---baseball guy.
Providences' Jeff Xavier.

I know I am missing a couple...

It's an increasingly popular name. As I understand it, it used to be a name used predominately by African Americans. But that's changing now.
