Been burning it up on my PC for about 2 weeks now. Truly one of the great pure 'Rock and Roll" albums of all time. One of the few albums that I don't skip a single song on...

Amen, brother. My 10 yr old is starting to get in to them (it's a law that you have to by middle school) and we were listening to it in the car the other day. He asked me if it was their Greatest Hits album. I said, "Well, I guess you could say that." It plays like one. I have all of their albums on my iPod and play the hell out of them. Word is they have a new album coming out in Jan. followed by a World Tour. I saw them at the Gardens on the Razor's Edge tour in the early 90s and my ears are still ringing.

You are getting repped for knowing what the greatest album of all time is.
I could listen to it every day.

Back in Black is a great album, but Highway to Hell and Powerage are right there imo.

It has always been on my Top Ten list. When I was in Boy Scouts working the paper drive me and another guy found the Back in Black album inside a RUSH 2112 album cover. We both wanted it, and I convinced him to alternate possession weekly. I had the first week. And the 1000+ since then.
I have a friend who used to think the first line of R&R Ain't Noise Pollution was "Help me there's a pheasant playing on my guitar." Sometimes when I am in a diminished mental state I get a mental image of that and laugh for a good long while. Then I think of why someone would need help if there was a pheasant playing on his guitar and I laugh some more.
I have always considered the song Back in Black the first rap song.

I was at the Razor's Edge concert at the Gardens in 91, and it was in the middle of the war on Iraq. There were guys selling T-shirts outside the Gardens that read "Fuq Iraq", and I promptly plunked down $10 for an XL. I remember Angus playing his solo in American Flag underwear. That T-shirt lasted until it went into the dryer. Then it could have fit one of my poodles.
I also went to Metallica's Black Album tour at Riverbend that following summer and sat in the 4th row. If those 2 concerts didn't do permanent damage to my hearing, then I don't know what will. Talk about some loud mofos.
Smails, I like you more and more all the time. Great call on the Back in Black Album.

The greatest thing about AC/DC is that they have never, ever written and/or performed the "power ballad." The closest they've probably come is "Ride On" but even that is more of a blues track. Just straight ahead rock.

This is my favorite. And Johnson was great, but I liked Bon better.

Stumbled upon this jam with the Stones. Be forewarned, Angus cut his hair.

Power ballads suck. All of them.

I can't deal with them either...
On the original topic...I just read that Back in Black is the #2 selling album of all-time world wide. Who can guess the number 1 without googling it? It makes sense

Winner....I bet the amount of copies sold in Asia alone would make it #1

Definitely back on topic...
It was my feeling that Cintas should've played a least a couple bars of Have a Drink on Me in response to Jim Baron Sr whining..
