"AKRON, Ohio (AP) -- Akron basketball player Rydell Brooks was arrested early Sunday after shooting at police officers during a foot chase following a traffic stop."

In a press release early this morning, the player said this.....

"It was all a misunderstanding. Those were just meant as warning shots. Just like in the movies."

That statement is beyond idiotic. But I do not know what is worse, that statement or the fact that there were people around him (lawyers and/or school officials) who allowed him to send out that press release. The kid is a moron and the people around him are just as dumb.
