For the effort though, the payoff isn't worth it. Congratulations Black Bear, you just worked your butt off for some bird seed.
Don't work harder, work smarter.

Give the noble bear credit for ingenuity. Maybe he needed some seed in his diet. And it's a damn sight better than eating the residents of the house, or the photographer who took the picture. We run pretty fast, you know---q aka Bear.:D
This reminds me of one of those lame motivational posters that you'd see in a third-grade teacher's classroom.

That was awesome! Although I'm not sure if I'm more impressed with the bear or the person that created the rig holding the bird feeder. That's some seriously strong construction there.

I think the picture is a metaphor.
1) The bird house is the world of datable women.
2) The bear is DC.
3) The world of datable women has gone to great lengths to avoid DC.
4) DC never stops fighting to foil their plans.
Stay tuned for tomorrow's episode - "After all of that effort, this birdseed has Herpes?!"

I am a Big Black Bear... with claws and with fangs... and I'm looking at my claws and I'm looking at my fangs. And I'm thinking to myself, "I don't know what to do, man." "I don't know how to kill the bunny." With *this* I don't know how to kill the bunny...
Climb that rope Little Black Bear. You are a hero.
