Lofton played w/ cancer

Apparently last season Chris Lofton played while recovering from cancer. I now have to give him a lot of respect and wish him luck wherever he ends up playing in the future.

Heard that on ESPN radio yesterday afternoon. That is an amazing story.

I read that this morning...what a courageous young man. I really felt bad about calling him a bum at the Cintas Center. But after thinking it over, I think that's exactly what he wanted...no preferential treatment.

What's really amazing is that he didn't tell his teammates, heck, most of his family, the ordeal that he was going through until the season was over. I gotta wonder what's in store for him in his pro career, be it the NBA or someplace overseas.
