I'm sure it won't last, but X is 13-5 and first in the A-10 with a one game lead over Charlotte. It would be nice to see another Xavier A-10 championship this spring.

They will win the A10. A friend of mine is on the team and he says is that the team strategy is to play the best competition in non-league play (such as Vandy and UK) and then come into the A10 and dominate.

Well, they're 6-19 outside the league, I think, so that part of the plan is working.

Hmmmm. That strategy sounds familiar.

That's good to hear. When I was at X i don't think the team was very good. Sadly, I probably should've followed it a little better as i had friends on the squad.

They're a game back of Charlotte now, and tied with Duquense. All 3 have 2 games left, so anything could happen. Surprisingly, X won the series (2-1 at home) against highly ranked Charlotte.

X and Charlotte both win their last game, sharing the title. X gets the 1 seed based on 2-1 series victory. Go Muskies!

That's awesome. Doesn't say much for the A-10 (given X's non-conference record), but who cares?
Good luck to X in Camden next week (both in getting out of there alive and in winning some ballgames).
