I'm sick of the usual suspects...
Drudge Report
Fox News
CNN
Yahoo
by the way CNN has officially lost all of it's creditability... They have begun selling t-shirts of their more "clever" headlines right on the home page... check it out, click on one of the tee-shirt icons next to a headline. Anything to make a buck. For $15.00 you could own a cnn logo t-shirt with these headlines on it:
Pelosi says 'no' to combined ticket
Sinkhole gulps entire lane of highway
Church steeple is cell tower goldmine
176-lbs beauty squashes stereotypes
Can't wait to see the Wolf Blitzer "So poor and so black" signature tee for sale (see youtube link).

I honestly love the Nytimes. It by far has the best news website with the best features out there.

It's my favorite site for real news. I think they do a better job of keeping opinions to the editorial section. I like their science reporting and some of the opinion pieces really crack me up. Plus, if I want to be entertained more than informed, I can pick from the list of top 10 most e-mailed articles.

Just another note on nytimes.com, they not only feature every article on their print edition online, but they also offer 30 years of their archives free.
I found a humorous nytimes article on alcohol on college campuses, which referenced Chief Couch himself.

Very good point. A lot of people believe the NYtimes is a left leaning publication, when the truth is that the editorial page does lean left while the news articles themselves are anything but biased.

The editorial section bursts into flames. Frequently.

I have to admit I read the Enquirer on-line a lot, although only for local news. It's quicker than wading through the TV news and it's always fun. Not to geek out but it's like Bertie Bott's Every Flavored Beans from Harry Potter: are you going to get licorice or ear wax this time. When they say the article is updated, is it really or did they just add one sentence? At what point in the day will they realize half their links don't work? And I LOVE when they change the title of an article, and nothing else, and post it 2 days in a row.
Fun for the entire family!

Just don't let your kids go to this site so they don't ruin GuyFawkes' experience!

I prefer www.fark.com
Some of todays headlines:
-Roger Clemens sometimes sent Mindy McCready payments of $25,000 but the relationship was not sexual. So that settles everything
-"I think it's ironic that she charged Gov. Spitzer $2,000 for sex and she wants to charge me $10 million for taking some naked pictures of her"
-Step 1: Break into church. Step 2: Burglarize church. Step 3: Do NOT fall asleep at the scene of the crime
I agree with blobfan on the Enquirer's unintentional entertainment value. Their overestimation of their value to the reader is exceeded only by John Matarese of channel 9, who has made such recent discoveries as :
- If you use twice as much laundry detergent as they tell you to, it costs twice as much. seriously... (http://www.wcpo.com/content/news/localshows/dontwasteyourmoney/story.aspx?content_id=a740f71e-ae22-4bf8-b9e9-87984f8621dd)
- Rising gas prices are increasing the costs of some people's commutes seriously... (http://www.wcpo.com/content/news/localshows/dontwasteyourmoney/story.aspx?content_id=e721985a-f2d4-4d79-a5e5-0cca4f95185f) (This one includes some really bad math, which actually creates misinformation)
- High prices for tickets for popular teen act are set by the performers seriously.... (http://www.wcpo.com/content/news/localshows/dontwasteyourmoney/story.aspx?content_id=c3c9aa55-fa14-4642-82ac-ae7385def8aa)
