I love the fact that, somehow, a ram became the mascot for a team nicknamed "Tar Heels." How did the cheerleader pitch that one? "Um, we need a mascot and I think a ram with blue horns would be a great representation of a Tar Heel."

Then again, I guess it's better than someone walking around dressed up as a giant, dirty foot.
