Christy Utnage, former standout at Dayton, has filled the vacant assistant coach position on the Xavier Volleyball team. I've personally had the privilege of seeing her play and let me tell you, if she can teach our girls to hit the way she used to, we will guarantee our position as the flagship of the A-10, consistently leading the way in two sports.

I actually went to high school with her. I remember going to a couple games against dayton during my xavier years and directing some friendly taunts her way. She always was quite good, though, and a pretty cool person.
