Apparently the Commish of the Big East refused to cave to the football coaches wish to add ECU to the Big East. How big can that conference get?

[QUOTE][Long term, ECU's best hope for getting into the Big East picture could hinge on the league's continued success in football. The more successful and influential Big East football coaches become, the more likely they are to be able to exert pressure on Notre Dame to find another league for basketball and other sports -- or join the mix in football.
/QUOTE]
Notre Dame is more than welcome to join us in the A-10.

The BE is the Paris Hilton of hoops conferences- really not all that attractive and is a big whore, yet everyone is dying to get in it.

I do not even get why they would want ECU. They are terrible at football. They could get an equal football program in Memphis and add a good basketball team, but that may be way too many good programs for that league.

I wouldn't say they are terrible. They went 8-5 last year and beat Boise State in a bowl game.

Paris Hilton is only unattractive because she is a bitch, borderline retarded, and a who-oar. If she was a normal person that looked like that, she'd be crazy hot.

ECU's football is way, way above Memphis in football. Plus, people in Eastern North Carolina are crazy about ECU football. Put them in a BCS conference and they'd be a monster.

You guys are right about ECU being better than Memphis at football, but I think you could make the argument that both programs could find success. With that, Memphis is obviously a better basketball program so that when all things are considered, both sports could benefit.

Fair enough, but the Big East doesn't need another good basketball team. In fact, they could use another crappy one. And ECU's most important advantages over Memphis in football have nothing to do with on-field activities. ECU has tons of fans who are passionate about their football program. Memphis? When does basketball start?
