Maybe I am an idiot but can someone explain rep points to me? How do I get/give them?

If you want to rep someones post (like mine), click on the star in their reply and check the 'approve' circle/box. That is all you need to do to give rep. To get rep, I guess just hope someone out there likes what you have to say and wants to rep it.

It's always advisible to do another check, just to be sure. My yellow star would be a good beginning. :)

Click your User CP link on the blue menu bar above. If someone has repped something of yours, it will show up there along with a comment about the rep.

As I wrote this thread I had a feeling it might go this way. I now feel like a loser with only 77 rep points. My posts must be unammusing and generally unappealing.

I know this has been asked before...but it hasn't really been answered

When can you rep the same person again? Is it a certain amount of reps given to other posters? Is it the number of posts that you have? Is it a time period? Is there anyway to find out from the company that designs the board?

Any help will follow with reps, if I am able to give them to you again

It was such a capital idea that I decided to join. So keep the reps coming.
