I think this and UNC/UL is one of the better matchups. I wouldn't go out on a limb and say UCLA by a large margin.....unless one team is having an off night...it should go down to the wire.

I'm picking up what you're putting down.

But I've heard the term "shock the world" a few times today, not to mention the David vs. Goliath thread. This is a 1 vs. 3 game after all, not a 1 vs 16, and I personally think it's a very good matchup. I'd be more inclined to compare it to Goliath vs. a smaller Goliath.

I just feel that calling it a "shock" and comparing it to David vs. Goliath makes the Xavier program seem very small time, which is an image Xavier and its fans have desperately tried to shed for years.

ucla2k3, how much depth do the Bruins have?

UCLA does not have very much depth, at least that's the way Ben Howland has made it appear to be. All of our starters play at least 30-35 minutes, minimum. Collison has played games for the whole 40 at times. Depth has been a concern. However, when a guy goes down, someone always seems to step up. James Keefe is a classic example. Keefe averaged about 2 points and 5 minutes a game for the season. With Shipp and Westbrook struggling against Western Kentucky, Keefe was a huge pleasant surprise the other night.
