I was encouraged until I read:
Xavier forward Lassina Traore suffered a leg injury after a fast-break dunk with 5:39 left in the second period. Traore got attention from Xavier's medical staff and eventually walked to the locker room under his own power. He emerged from the locker room with ice on his right knee at the beginning of the third period.

I really hope he’s ok - if healthy he should be a key part of our team

From what I’m reading, it’s an ACL and it’s not good.

Damn. That stinks- who knows just how important he would end up being (thought at one point he was talked about as starting) but as we saw last year, having depth is important.

I saw what Nigel saw on MM, including a post by Jumpin Jamal Forever I think who cited “a friend of a friend” saying that MRI confirmed ACL tear. Like X man here, though, I don’t see it on MM this morning.

CORRECTION: The post by Jumpin Jamal Forever was on this board, on the thread “24-25 roster…”. Sorry for my confusion.

Seems like the last 5-6 years have been riddled with injuries. Geesh please we need some better luck

Geezus….could really use a reversal of fortunes. Presumably have a lot of depth this year but this hurts.
