I see the 2024 ticket prices have been announced . If your preferred venue is mid court one ticket costs between $ 7500.00 and $ 5000.00 . If you are buying to see the 9 Big East games only that is $ 833.00 to $555.00 per game. If you are buying to see all 17 games it is $ 441.00 to 294.00 per ticket.

The $7500 is for Courtside seats and the $5k is for the Center Court Club(Suite Level). The first 6 rows are $3k. Rows G-M are $2500 and rows N-W are $1850. Here is the link for pricing throughout the Arena.

FYI, just so you know, there are 10 home Big East games! :)

I never understood the seat premium - why not just say the season ticket costs $750 instead of $500 + $250?

Lol thought same! Guess premium makes people fill good or “never understood stood seat premium”.

Then how much would individual game tickets be if you’re not a season ticket holder? I think they’re about the same based on seat location. That would make individual game tickets a lot more expensive.

Is the “seat premium” the donation portion for tax purposes?

Technically, no. Doesn’t mean people don’t deduct it.

I believe the premiums used to be 50% deductible, but by the book are no longer deductible as far as I know.

Correct. Seat premiums stopped being tax deductible in 2017.

I was going through the AFO brochure - also noticed that folks who were in the D'Artagnan level for AFO ($10,000 annual donations) were the ones who made the ill-fated bus trip to Butler back in February.
As it is, my seat in section 108 will be an extra $250 next year; the season ticket will still be $600 but the AFO donation goes up to $1250.
Also curious to see what other facilities upgrades are in the works; I know Hayden Field for example added FieldTurf recently but I gotta think there will be plans to add permanent lights for night games plus potentially more seating (although that's very tricky given the layout of the place). Corcoran Field is probably in line to add more seats, I'd think.

The fun begins on tax day when we all find out when our time slot is to select our seats.

The Musketeer points are locked and loaded. I’m in the low 800s out of just over 4,400. Time will tell how that plays out for getting seats where I’d like them.

Is there an estimate on at what point level you will likely have to change seats (if you wanted to keep them)? Not sure you can back into it, but perhaps someone smarter than me knows.

No idea. My hunch tells me you need to be in the Top 25% to secure lower bowl seats. If there were a year where you may be able to improve your current spot, this would be it.

The information about the reseating process said the dates and times for each person would be out on 4/15. Looks like they missed that.

If I had to guess, you'd be end of May 10 or beginning of May 11 (I'm a few picks in front of you). Here were the seats available last time after the selection on (May 10 (https://goxavier.com/documents/2017/5/10/XAVIER_MUSKETEERS_MEN_S_BASKETBALL_5_10_2017_hi_re s.pdf)).
Lots of options including end zone floor, down low seats in 106, 113, and 114. 1st row in 101, 103, Lookout, and some of the 200 sections. If you are still in 105, it looks like your current seats might be available. Unfortunately, my current seats would not be available but some close by would be.

Has anyone gotten their date and time email? I just wrapped up a monthly round table business group and one of the members is also a season ticket holder. He got his earlier this week. I still have not.

A bit strange that it is essentially the same message in the email ... they did say the email would be followed by a letter that would go out this week. What hasn't worked for me is to try the system out. The email has a link and references checking My Account -> My Tickets -> MBB New Seat Selection
I don't see that last link under My Tickets ... I see something above it call "Selection Process" but that disappears after 1 sec. If I click on it, I get an error message.

If you click on the link you can simply change the date at both places in the web address and see other days May 02 through May 11. Didn't work anymore for the 12th and after.:dunno:
edit, random days seem to work. 19th for instance. There may be an actual way through go Xavier to navigate to these, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Besides the links some of which don’t seem to exist, I did capture the image from each selection day (back from 2017). It’s fun to flip through day by day and see the selection change day by day. If you look at the image for your selection day this year, you might get an idea of what seats should be available - not specific seats but whether, as an example, the first 5 rows of the mid-court upper level should be available.
I’m curious who will be moving to the new center court club.

Went down to the 'tas today to look at various sections for new seats. Construction underway, the last 2 rows on the side opposite the team benches will be lost (at least in the middle section). Losing around 200 seats I believe is what he said.
Guy also said he wouldn't be surprised if new upgrades causing reseating like this happens every 7-10 years.
The live map of seats available will be up on April 30th. Seat selections start May 1st. You can go on and see at any time what's been selected and what is available.
On another note, has anyone ever sat in the lookout seats? If so, did you like them? Which row did you sit in? Would love to hear some opinions of that section from someone who has sat there for a game.

I sat in the lookout one time a few years back. The separate food and drink in the buffet area behind it was quite nice. We were in the middle row and i found it a little difficult to see the action on the hoop below like if i recall correctly i couldn't see anything on that baseline.

Was the food pretty good?
Yeah I sat in the seats today and if someone is inbounding on the baseline you'd definitely have to lean forward to see that. I think the 1st row would be ok for that but the 2nd row would be tougher.

Got a call from someone at the ticket office Friday asking to confirm my email address. Apparently, the seat selection email bounced. Problem is, they have the right address. I’m getting other emails at that address, including other emails from X. They were going to send the email again. Still haven’t gotten it. Guess I’ll call them on Monday to ask if it bounced again. I’d like to see the actual returned mail message.

Further modifying the Lookout for better site lines is among the list of (changes (https://goxavier.com/feature/2024-25-seat-selection-guide#lookout)) from the 2024-2025 seat selection guide.

Your link doesn’t work. I’m curious how they could improve the line of sight without changing the pitch of the section. Wouldn’t that require ripping it out and redoing it?
Also, I did finally get the resent email about my seat selection time. Showed up late yesterday.

Thanks for the PM. I had tried it with Safari and Firefox Focus (my browsers of choice) on my iPhone and iPad and all I saw was this.

Both of those browsers are configured to reject 3rd party cookies, which is probably why it didn’t move past that logo. It worked fine in when I tried Firefox or Edge. Looks like they are doing some reconfiguration. That’s good. If I had paid for those seats and couldn’t see the baseline, I’d have been royally pissed.

Went down last week to view seats and the fellow from the ticket office who took us around said they've put the plans for the Lookout on hold for now. He wasn't sure when they were going to renovate the section. So for now it will remain the three rows of seats.

Lets be honest. Most of the food at Cintas is not good unless you have a Quatmanns burger

True, but there is a much lower threshold for judging how good the food is when it is "free".

Normally it is around the second week of October. I think mini packages go on sale in late September.
