X-men playing like Grown Men

It’s a great feeling to see X players stepping up and playing the way X players are expected to play.

The entire team played hard against UC, but Olivari, McKnight and Ousmane really deserve to be applauded for putting that game on their backs. They were not going to be denied a victory. They were not going to be the new players who broke the Crosstown Shootout streak.

Completely agree. My hope is that all of the players take away from this the idea of what it takes to play Xavier basketball successfully.

Agreed. Being the glass half empty with a big hole in it kind of guy, I’m afraid of an emotional letdown this weekend against Winthrop.

One significant moment I saw during my 2nd viewing of the shootout was in 2nd half Claude jumped higher than I have ever see an X player jump to gather a defensive rebound. He wasn't great shooting from 3 but driving to the basket is definitely his bread and butter.
