Back in October just before the season started, I picked the Miami Hurricanes as one of my Final Four teams. I’m starting to think that may not have been correct.

They almost beat Louisville at home. That's...something.

A night where UK, Dayton and UC all suffered upset losses should be a happy night. Unfortunately, not really.

At least maybe we can get a crosstown NIT game this year?!

Unfortunately we've got our work cut out for us to even make the NIT after tonight. We're staring a losing season straight in the face.

Fair point.

I see no point in playing in the nit if this team even gets an invite. Half the roster isn't going to be here next year, and Miller and the staff need to concentrate on the portal more vs playing in exhibition games.

I don't think X is too good to play in the NIT. I say take the opportunity if they get it.

I expect 7 of the 8 guys in the current rotation to be back. Yeah a lot of bench guys probably leave but that is a lot different than the guys playing leaving.

I don't see it as a X is too good for the NIT, I just think there are other things that are more important.

Outside of Dayvion, Green, Claude and Swain, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone else leaves. The talent just isn't there. I guess if Abou is cool with being a backup he may stay as well.

To me, the freshmen look absolutey gassed and I don't think playing even more games that are pretty meaningless benefit them at this point.

I hope Ciani doesn't leave. Gytis with 1 year remaining I don't care too much about either way. Will Abou want to transfer again?

I could be off base but I truly think (if he stays) we will look back on Ciani's career at XU is a very positive way.

I think we should probably give Laser more time to develop. Weight room and talent wise. It usually takes big men longer. God knows we need some size under the rim. By junior year we might have something. A year with Zach and Jerome; but if those two don't come back, even more reason to keep him around and hope he gets there sooner rather than later. I like to think there will be better options in the portal...better a devil you know?

Probably going to sound like a get off my lawn take but can we end the stupid court storming thing now? Was watching the duke-wake game and fans stormed the court, ran into filipkowski and now he’s hurt. No fan of duke, but this kind of shit needs to stop. It’s stupid.

Did Wake even have any security in the endzones? Duke had no chance whatsoever of ending the fans. I literally thought they were charging after the Duke players here.

That’s going to cost Wake some serious coin.

Sprained ankle for Filipowski. I'm amazed that Jon Scheyer wasn't more livid in his postgame presser.

BYU and Houston seem to be adapting to life in the Big XII just fine. UC? Not so much.

KU doesn't lose by 30 often, but I always enjoy when they do!

Weren't they the preseason #1? Are they going to win the whole thing now as a 4 seed?

The Cavinder twins are back at Miami. They're shocked that it turns out that the place they can get the most eyeballs is....women's college basketball. Aren't we all surprised?
