Welcome Gytis to 2023 and X!!
Gytis Nemeiksa has committed to Xavier in the class of 2023. The 6'7, 21-year old forward was deemed a Lithuanian university transfer by the NCAA, with a to-be-determined # of years of eligibility. Nemeiksa won the NKL championship and was named Final Four MVP.

He looks like Kyle Rittenhouse. More importantly he looks to be a good all around player, but 31% on 3’s though (and a lot of them)… hmmmm. I trust Shawn will work that out.

A different source has him at 34.2% last year and increasing dramatically each season. I’m not sure what to make of it other than I trust Sean. Hopefully the improvement continues.

Is the international 3 point line further back than college, like the NBA, or is it same as college?

The NBA has a 22-foot 3-point line in the corners and a 23-foot, 9-inch line elsewhere.
The NCAA, WNBA and FIBA plays with a 22-foot, 1.75-inch line.
But there are slight differences in each one as to the minimum distance to the sideline.

I am excited about this pickup because I think it addresses a roster need. I am also glad to get an international player. I also look forward to announcers trying to pronounce his last name.

Yeah, knew it would not be long before Miller brought in an international guy. He seemed to do that quite a bit at Arizona.
