His surgery was what 4 months ago? Maybe this is a dumb question but can x count on him next year?

Jack Handy would say there are no dumb questions. Only dumb people who ask questions.

But I would say that Xavier better have a solid backup plan when it comes to Free.

And with the Hunter situation. A lot of unknowns on the front court at this point.

Still a scholly available, right? And tons of guys still in the portal as far as I recall. Could be revealing if we land a guy at this point...

I want Zach to get as healthy as he can. He doesn't need the minutes in the Bahamas to do that. If he's not ready for games in October, then I'll worry.

I definitley think this is true. No reason to play him in August really.

But I think it is fair to be concerned Zach could have some issues at some point in the season given his reoccurring issue over the last 1.5yrs with this injury.

That, coupled with the unknown with the outcomes of Jerome's cardiac issues gives reason for concern in the frontcourt.

Unless that IU transfer is a heck of a lot better/more capable than he's shown, it isn't a stretch to see our frontcourt thin out real quick. Wouldn't be mad to see the last scholly used on a portal frontcourt player who has shown some ability in college.

I don't dispute it's gets very dicey very quickly in the post.
