Thinking of heading to this one. Any recommendations for hotels/restaurants/things to do near Mackey?

Most of the lodging for Purdue is just off the exit (15 mins to campus) but there is a Hilton Garden Inn just over the bridge which will get you much closer. It's located in Wabash Landing. I believe there's a brew pub right next door. There's a smaller hotel on campus at the Union, but it's not a great place to stay IMO unless you're doing business at the University. I'd try to get a room at the Hilton if I were going.

My suggestion is to contact Mike Bobinski directly about accommodations. I am sure he would be happy to put us all up at his place.
Based on his annual pay he should have a very, very nice/large place there!

I'm assuming the one at the Union is the one called The Union Club Hotel - looks pretty nice.

It's been renovated recently. (My Wife is Purdue Alum).

Route 26 out near the interstate has everything Lafayette can offer.
Culvers, Macs, Chick-fil-A, lots of great fueling options.
Three hours flat from Cintas.
Enjoy!

Changed the plan and booked an AirBNB within walking distance of Mackey. Now - who's got the scoop on the best bars as we may go up on Sunday to watch Bengals game.

Do they really care about Xavier fans? College basketball arenas are usually pretty tame.
I also don't need to be hanging with college kids. They're annoying. Or maybe that's exactly what I need?
