One site will have a Sunday doubleheader that starts around noon on CBS, but the other 3 sites will start staggering games around 5:00 on CBS/TNT/TBS. The odds are Xavier will play on Sunday night assuming nothing cataclysmic happens against Kennesaw State.

I’m happy with that time because it means that the team won’t have to sit around all day waiting for their game to start, and wondering when it will. They are the 1st game that day, so it should start on time or at least very close to on time. Then they can get out of there and go rest away from the hustle and bustle of the tournament.

Do you think the Xavier game would be the 7:30pm TruTV game (following Kentucky at 5pm on CBS)? We need to schedule around our traditional Feast of Saint Joseph Italian dinner. We could clear out the family by that time.

My wife and I grew up in Effingham, IL, moved to Cincinnati in 1974. We were at the game, drove to Effingham after the game and stayed with family. The 1st 45 minutes of that drive neither of us said anything. We were sure that was going to be a win. Effingham isn't that great at noon

I went to Vegas for March madness that year of the Wisconsin loss, or I would have been at the game in St. Louis, having many friends there.

I got back from Vegas Sat night I believe and I came home with the flu. I spent all of Sunday sick in bed. Just what my then 7 months pregnant wife was hoping for upon my 4 days away in Vegas.

The only beneficial thing was, I was so sick I barely reacted to that shot and loss and don't remember in detail that awful, awful game. More like a bad dream than a crushing reality.

The Alumni Association has secured Steel Hand Brewery for the pre-game festivities. Beer/wine/mimosas will be available starting at 10am with a limited food menu. It's walking distance from the Coliseum. See everyone there

With the noon tip on Sunday as the only contest, for the sake of the future of the program, Xavier needs to deliver under the spotlight. Make a statement immediately getting back to the second weekend in the first year of the Sean Miller regime. Peak Colby needs to show why he is on NBA draft boards. Boum, Nunge & Claude need to show why they are all-conference selections. Play a wire-to-wire contest. With all eyes on them, plant a big X on college basketball.

So whoever wins Friday it appears X or Texas will play the later game Sunday which if history holds true will be around 5:05pm. Now that’s just speculation but the two games are in Kansas City and Louisville. KC is central time zone. West coast games are being played Thursday and Saturday. . I could be totally wrong but I would think they give X/Texas the late game Vs Houston/Miami but just speculating. Last year Sunday games were played at 2:20 and 5:05

The game times are listed at 2:00 and 4:55. Absolutely no clue what time X would play. Doesn’t matter to me so long as they are playing.
