Is Miller the worst coach in the history of the world at end of halves? I've seen him several times now give Boum the ball. Boum dribbles it near half court until there are about eight seconds left while the rest of the team does nothing. At about seven seconds Boum get trapped or has some other turnover. Why does Mindless, I mean Miller think it is better to play one vs five at the end of halves instead of five vs five? If one vs five is so great, why doesn't he do it the whole game. I am glad we have Miller, but give me Aluminum the last 30 seconds of the half.

We got a wide open dunk at the end of the first half on a set play.

Go to bed, this is dumb.

Some of you guys need a cooling off period before you post after a loss.

Wake up and watch it again. Boum has the ball with 15 seconds, He stands at half court while everyone else stands around. With five seconds he driblles it off his leg. Fortunately it touched a Marquette player. With only five seconds left, Jones did not have a change to stand around dribbling. he attacked the basket and scored. We have a much better chance with five seconds than 20 seconds. With five, we attack. With 20 we stand around at half court until it is too late.

Edit. My reference was the end of game:
Did you know that Sean called a play for Colby on that possession but Boum ignored Colby not once, but twice and then turned it over? That possession was totally on Boum as was his bad pass on the next possession inbounds. When Boum got trapped he also should have called a timeout so he made three Mistakes in the last 30 that cost them.

Would you have rather given them the ball back before the half ended?

Seeing he has over 81 post and one of them
Is this, I’m guessing Steve is new to X basketball. Never question the great Sean Miller. All coaches draw up plays that seem to fail right before half. Typically it’s because the players don’t execute the play the way it’s drawn out. They also always tend to wait too long to get the shot out.

Think we had a TO left. Should’ve called it however Boum is one of the best in the league. He made two mistakes. On to Sat and Mar at this point.

If Sean Miller wants this team to advance far in either the BE Tournament or the NCAA Tournament he will need start by carefully going over the final 45 seconds of this game. So many mistakes. Several turnovers, a foul, poor defense during Marquette’s final offensive possession and X’s lack of aggressiveness to go get the missed layup at the end. There is no reasons Colby and Souley should be standing and waiting for the ball to drop from the basket/ Fellas have to go up and get it… but they didn’t and a Marquette player did… which cost X the game.

Sooooooooooo much to fix there - so many teaching moments that Sean must make sure the players work on and get corrected so they know the proper thing to do to avoid each of those mistakes.

Mistakes are going to happen when you have to ride 6 guys for a total of 200 minutes, night after night. They're gassed out there.
