New Tickets?

Last year we didn't have any problems at all texting tickets to other people. This year's tickets appear different........no bar codes just an "animated" phone symbol until the ticket that says "Hold Near Reader". Someone just texted me two tickets for tomorrow and I noticed the phone symbol on these isn't "animated". Will these scan? Does anyone know?

On an i-phone, if you hit the three little dots in the upper right hand corner it will bring up the QR code. I did this whenever the ushers were struggling with the "hold near" feature.

I tried that and it doesn't work. On my tickets it's functional and I can get the QR code but on the ones that were texted to me the little dots are not functional. I'm thinking maybe they just took a screen shot of the ticket and sent that as opposed to actually forwarding the e-ticket. Does that make sense?

I took screen shots and texted my tix last year all the time.

Maybe text a screen shot of the ticket and a separate one of the QR code? Cumbersome yes but probably workable. Just a thought.
