Thanks for posting this, Paul. The Prosser Challenge is an enigma to me. It's either because I'm not paying close enough attention or it's because it seems to start and stop almost randomly. If anyone has any insights into the status of this challenge, they would be appreciated.
I like that it was originally put together because Skip deserves such recognition and because of the two schools involved. It just seems as though it is not as firmly set as it was intended to be.

Thank you, SC. So, 7 games in 11 seasons.
One thing is for certain, I'll never forget that Skip was a class act through and through:

No worries. I think they were going to go 2 years on/2 years off...but Covid may have screwed that up.
Maybe they are going to start it back up this year.

Man it's shaping up to be a pretty fun schedule, Illinois possibly and WVU at home are awesome, obviously the Nike classic will be big, should be a really fun first year with Miller with some of the teams we're set to face off with.

Seems like its their turn to come here? Maybe there was a game scheduled in Fall 2020 @ Cintas that was cancelled due to COVID? I enjoy this series.
X on top 5-3 all time (4-3 in Prosser classic).
22-23 Schedule looking stout!

So it looks liek all the times and dates are set except for @Wake Forest. Non conference schedule wrapped up last season on 12/15 before kicking off BE play on 12/18.
I imagine teh WF game will be played between 12/4-12/9 mid -week before shootout or between 11/27 - 12/2 mid week before West Virginia.
I imagine there is no practical way X will squeeze in WV game after BE opening game.

Bet Mick Cronin thought he'd never have to return to Cintas ever again after going to UCLA.

Not the worst schedule, but not too exciting either with WVa, IU, and UC all having teams developing. They are going to really have to impress the committee with this one.

Indiana has been in every pre-season top 25 ranking I've seen. West Virginia is supposed to be a top 50 team. UC...

IU is predicted by many to be near the top if not win the BIG. And that tournament in Portland is brutal. Plus the Big East. The committee will be duly impressed.

Interesting take. We are going to play at least 2 games against high quality teams in the Phil Knight tourney. IU is consistently predicted to be a top 15 team for next season. Having Thuggins back in the 'tas is awesome. I hope UC is terrible but always a fun game.
That combined with the BE schedule, if XU wins games, they will have no issue with the committee.
I just hope we have Miller back by the Phil Knight tourney. Back by IU would be awesome but it would have to be 4 games or less for that to happen.

I will compromise.
X can play a memorial Skip video at halftime for 1-2 games each year and play WF 2 times a decade unless both teams are consistently in top 30 kenpom rankings(then play once a year).

Almost all the Saturday games are home games - only at Villanova and at Creighton are Saturday road games. No Sunday road games and 3 Friday road games which is a little weird.
As for the January 15 game, they'll flex that based on what foosball game Fox has that day.
