Nice to think he might finally reach his potential under the tutelage of Team Miller.

Who will it be tomorrow?

I think I’m on the schedule for tomorrow. I need to double check.

Yeah IDK not sure excitement is the feeling I have

We need BE level talent to compete and win

We're putting a lot on Miller to work his magic

I'm giving everyone on last year's roster a clean slate. After seeing how better this team played after the Cleveland State game and how some individuals, for example, Freemantle turned it up a notch, I think we might see more talent in guys like Miles than we thought we had. First of all, he's big and he's put on some muscle. And, he has three years remaining eligibility (I think). For all we know, we're looking at a future B.E. Defensive POY. Eight players have re-upped. Who knows what the others will do. But, if next year's roster is essentially the same as last year's, sans Scruggs and Nate, we still have a much better coach. After watching the NIT final, I thought Free was a definite goner and he may be still. But, if he goes. If Edwards, Hunter and Stanley also leave, I'm confident Miller will replace them with confident, veteran players.

I would not have had that confidence in Steele and neither would most of us on this board.

i will feel bad for Stanley as i know he was coming on in 2021 and was ready to get 20 min a game in place of Carter(he has 2 12 pt games Creighton and Seton Hall) and his injury was almost a non contact. Whatever is best for him but I liked his game the little i saw(not to mention his prior year on youtube)

I liked Stanley too. I had pretty high hopes for him.

However, this year I watched him closely when he was out there and he just doesnt have the skill level to excel at this competition level. Ballhandling and security in particular was worrisome. I think he could dominate at the Hampton level due to his size and physicality. But at the BE level, he's just another guy and needs to sharpen his skills.

Not giving up on him, btw. Would love to see him prosper.

i kind of agree but especially with Carter last year(before injury) he could have helped and (maybe) worked his way into the BE level. Not a star for sure but could have helped

Maybe we ought to spell his name correctly in this “welcome back” thread.

The Xavier site spells it “Dieonte.”
