Not sure what that means in the context of an 8th year senior, but he still put out an announcement.

I thought that was weird too. Like, what's the other option?

Not surprised because Steele is gone. Oh wait…

Still, I like the things he said about our program and glad he got his degrees.

Won't any senior or grad student worth their salt who can seriously ball, be notified by multiple people on their realistic NBA chances?

Good shooter Nate but move on to Europe and get paid bank.

Best of luck to Nate. A great guy. Great X representative. I feel bad he had to deal with two injuries during his time at X that caused setbacks.

Go get it Mr. Johnson. I hope you can stay injury free and reach your dream.

I wish him nothing but the absolute best. Solid player and great shooter. I’m not sure what level he’s up to when healthy, but good luck!

While it seems strange because I believe he had no eligibility left, I think you technically have to declare for the nba draft to be eligible to be drafted.

Either way, hope for the best. Sucks he got hurt twice at Xavier.

Stay healthy and his Xavier legacy could be very, very different. Bummer, for everyone involved. Hope it ends well.

Stay healthy and Steele likely would still be our coach.

This reminded me, more comically than actually, of when Justin Martin was kicked off the team mid-season at SMU and announced he was leaving early to prepare for the NBA draft.

I'm sure Nate will carve out a solid career for himself overseas, there is always room for shot-makers.
